Arboricultural Impacts Assessment and Tree Impacts Plan
An arboricultural impact assessment is regularly requested by the LPA as part of the planning submission. This is an exercise whereby a detailed assessment of the impacts of the scheme and every aspect of it is made on the retained trees and is premised on the BS5837 tree survey. Root protection areas, shade patterns, loss of trees or the need to prune trees are some of the aspects considered and this will be illustrated on a tree impacts plan. Ideally if a scheme has considered the tree population based on the BS5837 survey from the onset so that impacts are minimised, greater success in the planning process is likely. Excessive impacts including long term issues are material reasons to refuse an application

“I contacted Chris Overbeke by email. He replied promptly and has since visited my property to give me advice and a follow up report. Mr Overbeke is a very pleasant man who proved himself to be knowledgeable and helpful. I feel that the work carried out by Mr Overbeke was carried out to a good standard and at a fair price. I particularly liked the fact that the advice I requested by email was given, but no hard sell tactics were employed. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Overbekes services to family or friends.
Thank you,”
